investing at the
intersection of reproductive and economic justice.
We invest in ecosystems where reproductive care, economy, and community meet.

building just ecosystems of reproductive care
For generations, Black, Brown, Native, Indigenous, and gender expansive communities have been systematically under-resourced and left navigating the compounded crises of economic inequity and inadequate reproductive care. These communities have always created new ways forward, building models of care and resilience that produce better outcomes, even without the benefit of full recognition or investment.
We believe the future lies in resourcing and scaling what is already working and rooted in three interconnected pillars:
self-determination
Restoring decision-making power to individuals, families, and communities.
economic power
Redirecting capital to fuel sustainable, community-driven solutions and build collective resources.
care impact
Measuring success through lived experience, community well-being, and generational healing.

“we cannot solve a trillion-dollar problem with $50,000 grants. until we move capital at the scale of the challenge, community-rooted solutions will remain systematically under-resourced, and cycles of harm will continue.”

from extraction to regeneration
High costs, growing care deserts, and worsening outcomes characterize today’s profit-driven, intervention-based care system. Decades of divestment, redlining, and erasure have undermined the very models of care that create better outcomes, experiences, and dignity in every community.
By redirecting capital toward what works but has been undervalued, we can reset the conditions for care.
what is possible
driving regeneration in economy, care & community
The U.S. ranks 45th in maternal deaths globally. Each year, 50,000–60,000 people experience severe maternal complications, and the number is growing.
where we are
Midwifery-led care yields at least 40% lower cesarean rates, 26% lower pre-term birth rates, and significantly better holistic outcomes for parents and babies.
The U.S. spends $111B annually on maternal and infant health care, including $37B on preventable complications and billions more on unnecessary procedures and extended hospital stays.
Shifting just 1% of births to community birth centers could save $189M annually, while strengthening local care systems and keeping resources in communities.
Clinical care shapes only 16% of health outcomes. The rest depends on social, cultural, and community conditions. While hospitals close, communities step forward to lead and care becomes rooted in trust, access, and collective wellness, beyond hospital walls.
More than 1,100 U.S. counties are maternity care deserts with no local hospitals, birth centers, or obstetric providers. Post-Dobbs, abortion and family planning clinics continue to disappear, further stripping communities of options.

the three core tools we leverage for change
By leveraging these strategic channels, we unlock resources to amplify the innovation and impact of the community wisdom, perspectives, and strategies necessary to build better care and economic systems.
Integrated capital
We meet people where they are.
We direct integrated capital, blending grants, recoverable grants, low-interest loans, and non-financial support to align with an organization’s needs and growth goals.
portfolio services
Transformation requires more than just money.
We provide wrap-around technical assistance to strengthen organizational wellness and financial resilience.
investor organizing
Change starts with relationship.
We bring together investors, from individuals to institutions, to translate shared learning from funding principles and practices into coordinated action.

where we invest
Through this blended approach, we invest in key elements of infrastructure to sustain care.
land & real estate
Capital for real estate and land acquisition anchors care and wellness centers, secures long-term sustainability, and prevents community displacement.
workforce development
Supporting networks of reproductive care workers and organizers who drive workforce development and sustain care networks.
tech & services
Investing in social enterprises and operational infrastructure accelerates delivery of culturally-relevant, accessible care and builds community economic power.
